Great chapter. I love that you spend time on the details. So many do not, as if simply writing down a plot point makes for interesting reading. The final line made me chortle. Thanks for writing and keep up the good work.

Oh, excellent work. "Show them the stick, then threaten to choke them with the carrot." I like this line VERY MUCH.

Great work. Thanks for Sharing,

Curious of how (or if) H is going to reenter society. It must get harder and harder for every act of terror. Emotionally, yes. But also because he would suddenly be very suspect.

I danced with joy when I saw you'd updated. I loved it and look forward to more soon (hint hint). I do have to love how Harry is putting the screws to the purebloods.

This is an excellent chapter. I am so glad that Harry is really trying to avoid killing anyone else. That is great. I like the way he put LXM and Bobbins out of the picture for a while. Mathias is a business man and unfortunately he is a little greedy but he will get the job done and all the patients will benefit because of it. It also looks better to the girls and the people that he will have to confess to eventually. I look forward to more of this story. pms

Great part here, and really liked to see a bit of the old Hermione starting to come through again, and hope she makes her way back completely. A fun talk with Tonks and Matthias as well, and it's all good to see Harry able to throw a bit of water on the open flames that the Ministry wants to keep fanning.

How I love the destruction! If only I could see Malfoys face.
I don't see Tonks trusting Harry too soon I'm afraid. She is still a cop, and he still killed people, even if accidentally. But at least there has been a first step between the two.
Great chapter! I am already looking forward to the next.

My goodness, Harry! This is grey!Harry with some real smarts! Glad Matthias was too squeakly clean, though, this is more believable

As I apparated out of there, I thought about how Zab would react to my version of his tactic. Show them the stick, and then threaten to choke them with the carrot.

A perfect ending line to a truly excellent chapter.

Damn clever using Tonks to play the foil like that.

I've seen LXM used before, but can't remember where at the moment . . .

Melinda Bobbins. Urk. Isn't that name used by another FFA author as a fashion designer? Again, can't remember which story.

In both cases, I want to say Jec's TMW, but I don't remember for sure.

Good idea for Harry to use the Unforgiveable at the early stage. Gives Matthias leverage against him if he ever feels like he needs it.

Problem: Matthias will be blamed by Bobbins and LXM for destruction of their facilities. He'll have to prove, somehow, that he wasn't at fault. But he'll be the only one benefitting from the mysterious new Dark Lord's actions, so that'll be a tough sell.

Draco664 replied:

Yes, LXM is from TMW.

Melinda Bobbins is a canon character who is met in the Slug Club.

Harry used the Imperius so that should Matthias be interrogated, he can claim to have been under the curse. As for proving that he wasn't involved with the destruction, he was arguing with the goblins while that was going on. He does have an alibi.

Keep up the good work! I've read the series about five times and can't get enough. I look forward to and dread the end of this story. Thanks for the great reading!

I like it. A guerrilla war against the regressive purebloods by a "dead" man. I hope it will keep going. Thanks for writing. W.
