This is really good, but it would have been great to read all that happening.

Thats really sad.
There isnt another way to say it.

Yum, angsty. Though, too realistic, which is what makes it so sad and scary at the same time.

Wow! That's all I can say to this, Wow!

Interesting fic. I've read it a few times. It's interesting to realise that the scenario in this story inexorably leads to an Earth where the humans will have extincted themselves within a hundred years or so.

After all, once they can recognise the magic gene, they'll edit it out, or kill those carrying it. Then they'll realise that there are other tendencies that should really be edited out, such as homosexuality, and maybe certain violent tendencies, and will make an effort to do so.

People will always fight back, though, and as the technology improves, the home-made weapons get more powerful.

it is utterly believable that all the eventual in-fighting would cause the population level to drop below the re-population limit.

Powerful, if somewhat depressing, story.

Brilliantly done. I've seen variations on this theme, but none with the absolute dystopian totatality of yours. In most stories, the wizards come out on tope in the end - but not in this one. Reflects my thoughts on the muggle vs. wizarding world completely, by the way.

nice ending killed by a satalight, you could turn this into a time fic but there have been a ew of those already 9/10.

Oh, my. Quite a downer.

Very well done. Too bad such a lesson would be too late.

Thanks for writing it.

Okay, that was depressing -- although a very logical extrapolation of ideas.

Oh. I didn't expect that but it was quite wonderful. I love your idea of how things could be - far too possible considering the world and the way the wizards seem to be so unaware of technological advances. Excellent story.

<__< Well...nicely depressing fanfic? Perfect after reading a bit of smut imo. I do find the satellite thingy a bit unlikely, considering how much our people bitch about NSA wiretapping alone. xD Love this fic, though.

Tragic, but pretty darn realistic.

You have a twisted, twisted mind.
Oh, I'm not going to get any sleep tonight -_-

Very well written...
omg got to clear my head

wow... sadly, that's a very realistic attitude from us muggles.

Absolutely fascinating and depressing.

This is a morbidly compelling tale.

Very well conceived. Very well done.

This is a very sad tale. It goes to show that all good things will end in time. At least if the people of the world don't learn to get along. These things could happen to people that figure "If you don't believe what I believe then your wrong and deserve to die!" It makes me think of people of the world today and that is sad. Thanks for writing but I like "Fairy Tales Better"! pms

I could almost feel the despair flowing off the page when I read the story. The final moments of magic, I don't think I've ever seen anyone describe the fall of an entire civilization with such vivid simplicity.

Well that was just a rosy outlook.

A nice idea for a short story.

I thought you wrote it and explained it very well.
