Wow! Now THAT was the start of a rollicking story!
I will be keenly following this as I'm already totally hooked.

Interesting...so Harry's in Azkaban because Fudge had a lackey trick him...boy do I feel sorry for that official when Harry gets out. And it looks like it was a good idea for Harry to give the Horcrux to Dobby. Wonder how long until Blaise figures out that person isn't Harry? Anyway, keep up the great story, can't wait for the next part.

Huzzah for the update XD Great job here - once again, I love Harry's attitude :D

Sorry to say this but I don't believe in the combination of a ward using magic and a ward draining magic as to prevent a ward draining magic from being generic you would have to tailor it to someone and if that existed it wouldn't stop to executed magic but would drain everything until it had a dry husk in front of itself thus killing the target which is obviously not the case hence you are speaking of a ward draining active magic which would not be consistent with wizards casting spells or other wards being in place.

What a cheery chapter. I don't suppose he can summon Dobby? Well any way I like it. Thanks for writing. W.

Great work.

*wicked laughter* Hmm, methinks the dementors may be a bit less willing to guard him after that little episode. OTOH, he's not in the best of places at the moment and 'twill be most interesting to see how he's extracted, or extracts himself, from there. I rather suspect that it'll be something unique that'll catch all, possibly even Harry, by surprise.

And here I thought this saga was comeing to a close and that was a novel way to kill a Dementor.

Looking forward to the next chapter.

Well, I expected the portkey would land Harry somewhere nasty after the last chapter of "Journeyman" - but I didn't expect Fudge back. Nice twist. Looking forward to seeing how you wrap this one up.

I actually had a suspicion that the portkey might drop him off into the hands of a baddy. Good to see you keeping this story up, it is enjoyable.

Blase will know it is not Harry.

Well that was an interesting, and unexpected start to things. When you finished Journeyman, my mind painted lots of possibilities as to what happened, this certainly wasn't one of them. Brilliant work, thank you.

Oh man, excellent beginning! This whole series seems to be centered around Harry getting into some kinda troublesome situation, and then getting out of it, and I can't imagine anything better than him having to get out of Azkaban! I mean, he's already been through the Vatican's secret vault and Gringotts, so I really should've seen it coming... :)

And I *knew* that the guy with the portkey from Journeyman was up to no good, I just figured he worked for Malfoy or some other Voldemort supporter, so having Fudge turn out to be the latest "bad guy" (with his lack of intelligence and anything resembling competence, he doesn't really deserve the title, IMO) was a wonderful surprise. Now, I just can't wait to see the reactions to what he did to the Dementor, and how Harry's gonna get out of there. I'm also wondering how long Fudge's little scheme with polyjuice is gonna work, with all the powerful allies Harry has, some of whom know him very, very well...

Well, this was the last place I thought Harry would end up. I knew the look the guy in Berlin gave him was no good, but I thought Harry'd end up with a pal of Malfoy's. :D

Looking forward, as always, to reading more!

Thanks,

Meg

Nice opening here, and like a stopped clock, even Fudge can do something right once in awhile. Going to look forward to what happens to Harry now, how he might get out of this, and what all will be going on while he's stuck there.

Great start to the final story arc! I wonder if Blaise or Hermione will realize that the "Harry" in St. Mungo's isn't really him. I guess it would depend on what exactly had been done to him. It will also be interesting to see if Fudge is acting on his own, or if he's somehow connected to Draco. Thanks for writing!

OF five paragraphs, I have no doubt whatsoever. Smart move, Harry.
